EMT is a steel raceway of unthreaded circular cross section.
The exterior is galvanized and protected by a clear zinc coating.
The interior is a smooth continuous raceway and is coated with zinc organic lubricants.
It could be either installed indoors or outdoors
Produced in trade sizes from ½” to 4″.
EMT Pipes are manufactured in accordance with the latest edition of the following:
- American National Standard for Steel Electrical Metallic Tubing (ANSI C80.3)
- Underwriters Laboratories Standard for Electrical Metallic Tubing.
